Dear Colleagues,The 25th National Electron Microscopy Congress, which was planned to be held in Izmir between 22 – 24 September 2021 by the Izmir Institute of Technology on behalf of the Turkish Society for Electron Microscopy, and the 1st International Microscopy and Spectroscopy Congress, which will be held simultaneously for the first time, will be held online. Due to the COVID pandemic all around the world, our congress, which we have carried to the international arena with your support and intense interest over the last 50 years is going to be online for the first time, in order to protect the health of our valuable participants. Our congress will be open to all microscopy related research and technical developments in the fields of life sciences and materials sciences. The scientific program of the congress will include presentations by renowned invited speakers, as well as contributed oral and poster presentations. Even in these harsh times, we prioritize the communication and interaction of our participants, and we will provide all means possible for fruitful discussions via our online meeting system. We will get through this virus as humanity and meet face-to-face in scientific events again, until then, we aim to provide an efficient scientific interaction where we will discuss the current issues in the field of microscopy and share our work via this online meeting. We are happy to invite all our colleagues to our congress. |
