At CMC2026, scientific exchange will continue beyond the lecture halls. Our social programme has been designed to provide participants with opportunities to meet colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere, discover Osijek and experience the authentic flavours and hospitality of Slavonia.

Before the official opening of the congress, participants will be able to choose between two activities:
Discover the history, architecture and distinctive atmosphere of Osijek through a guided walking tour of the city.
Participants interested in advanced imaging technologies will have an opportunity to visit and learn more about the iMScope TRIO mass microscope.
A short survey will be sent to registered participants in advance so that they can select their preferred activity. Prior registration is required for both options. Please note that the number of participants for the iMScope TRIO visit is limited.

Following the opening ceremony and the first plenary lecture, participants are invited to join us for the CMC2026 Welcome Reception.
This informal gathering will provide an excellent opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, establish new collaborations and enjoy authentic local food presented by Plodovi.hr.

The CMC2026 Gala Dinner will bring participants together for a memorable evening in the heart of Osijek. Guests will have an opportunity to enjoy dinner, informal conversation and the company of colleagues and friends from the microscopy community.

PG Brzica Ivo
Following the conclusion of the scientific programme, participants will have the opportunity to join an optional visit to PG Brzica Ivo.
The visit will include a tasting of local wines accompanied by traditional regional products, offering participants a final taste of Slavonian culture and hospitality before departure.
Further information regarding registration, meeting points and transport arrangements for the social activities will be provided to registered participants in due course.
