Abstract Formatting Guidelines – CMC 2026

Abstract submission will open on 15 May 2026.

Authors are required to prepare their abstracts using the official CMC 2026 Abstract Template, which will be available for download below. Please follow the instructions carefully.

General Formatting

The abstract must be prepared in Microsoft Word (.docx format) using the provided template
Font: Times New Roman
Line spacing: 1.0 (single spacing)

Title

Font size: 15 pt, bold
Title should clearly and concisely reflect the content of the work

Authors and Affiliations

List authors in the format:
Surname Nameᵃ, Surname Nameᵇ
Use superscript letters (a, b, c…) to indicate affiliations
Provide full institutional names and addresses for each affiliation

Corresponding Author

Indicate the corresponding author using the format:
Corresponding author: email@domain.com

Abstract Text

Maximum length: 3000 characters (including spaces)
Must not exceed one page (excluding the figure page)
Font size: 11 pt, justified alignment
The abstract should be written as a single paragraph
It should briefly include:
- background
- methods
- results
- conclusion
  (no need to separate these sections with headings)

References and Acknowledgements

Maximum 3 references
Each reference must be on a separate line
Format example:
1. X.Y. Name et al., Journal Name 5 (2015) 25–250.
This section may also be used for acknowledgements, if necessary

Figure

A maximum of one figure is allowed
The figure must be placed on a separate page after the abstract
Figures should be clear and readable
Provide a short and clear description below the figure
